API reference and limits

Is the invoice generator really free?

Yes. There is no account and no watermark, and SuperBooks does not keep the invoice: the details you type are turned into a PDF and sent back to you. Each address can make 20 PDFs a day.

Which countries does it cover?

The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Australia. Each preset sets the currency, date format, paper size and tax line, and its page lists what an invoice there must show, linked to the tax authority's own page.

Is the PDF a valid e-invoice?

No. It is a PDF, which works wherever a PDF invoice is accepted. Germany requires structured e-invoices between German businesses, with PDF still allowed for supplies until the end of 2026 (2027 for businesses with prior-year turnover up to €800,000), and France is phasing them in from 1 September 2026.

Does it work out the tax?

Yes. The preset fills in the country's rate, which you can change, and the PDF shows the subtotal, the tax line and the total. A Canadian invoice can carry GST or HST plus the provincial sales tax as two lines.

Can a script or an AI agent make invoices with it?

Yes. POST the same details as JSON to the free API and the answer is the PDF. No key is needed; the API page lists the fields.
